PREVENT CUTS TO PARAMEDICS AND AMBULANCES!
- The Eagle County Paramedic Services is facing a $990,000 funding shortfall out of a $13 million budget, starting in 2022 because the Gallagher Amendment is reducing funding and will be forcing cuts to paramedics and ambulances.
- Expenses like fuel costs and insurance continue to grow while funding is shrinking and call volume increases with growth of the county.
- Ambulances and trained paramedic crews are a critical 24-7 community service that has to be there when you need it.
- More than 5,200 emergency calls last year.
